One more charged with church burglaries

HARRISON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - Another person has been arrested in connection with a string of burglaries at coast churches. Michael Dayton Boyd, 23, faces two felony charges of Burglary of a Church.

According to Sheriff Melvin Brisolara, Boyd's partner in crime was Robert "Daniel" Hoda, who was arrested Wednesday.

When investigators caught up with Boyd, they also recovered an Epiphone Guitar which was stolen from Grace Chapel Church on Landon Road. Investigators said they expect to make still more arrests in the case.

The burglaries took place in August. Anyone with information about the case, or who believes they may have been sold some of the stolen property, is asked to call the Harrison County Sheriff's Department at (228) 897-1507.

Boyd is being held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center under a $40,000 bond.
