Mississippi salutes its tourism partners

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

Congratulations to Linda Hornsby.  The Mississippi Tourism Association recognized Hornsby on Tuesday with the Tourism Achievement Award.  The award recognizes an industry leader around the state who strives each day to promote Mississippi tourism and to attract visitors to the state.

Hornsby received her award at the annual Governor's Conference on Tourism.

The Mississippi Gulf Coast Convention and Visitors Bureau also got recognition on Tuesday.  It earned the distinction as the CVB of the Year for large market offices.
