MOSS POINT, MS (WLOX) - Driving too close. That simple, bad driving habit is what led to a big drug bust on Interstate 10 Monday morning near Highway 63.

Authorities with the Jackson County Criminal Interdiction Team stopped the vehicle on west bound I-10 near the 70 mile marker. Concealed inside the vehicle, they found 50 pounds of marijuana they say was headed for a house in Moss Point.

Later in the day, agents served a search warrant at the suspected drug house.

The driver, 29-year-old Cortez Lamond Croon, is charged with one count of Possession of a Schedule I controlled Substance, Marijuana, with the intent to distribute. He's being held at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center.
