CAMP SHELBY, MS (WDAM) - A courageous 7-year-old boy with a dream to be an army helicopter pilot got the fantasy field trip of a lifetime Thursday, courtesy of the command staff at Camp Shelby.  Austin Robbins was the guest of honor at a "commander's call" at the post.

Robbins is the little Sumrall boy who saved another child from drowning at a motel pool in Gulfport this summer.

After hearing of Robbin's heroic act and learning that he wanted to fly helicopters for the army one day, Camp Shelby officials decided to invite him and his family to the post for a day.

During his visit, Robbins viewed a simulated helicopter rescue operation and toured the Mississippi Armed Forces Museum.

He was also presented several gifts, including an army cap and his very own flight suit.
