Join in the fight against diabetes. Put on your gym shorts and lace up your shoes for a walk to benefit Mississippians living with diabetes. The Gulfport Sportsplex is the place to be Saturday, registration begins at 9a.m. and the walk at 10a.m.
Over 150 artists will set up booths on the grounds of the Diamondhead County Club. The arts and crafts fair is always a great place to find unique items for your home or even get a jump start on your Christmas shopping. Shop until you drop Saturday between 9:30a.m. and 5p.m. or Sunday from 10a.m. until 4p.m.
Feast on the many flavors of South Mississippi this weekend. Enjoy watching delicious dishes come alive right in front of you, there will also be food competitions, workshops and lots of local produce for sale at this year's Feast of Flavors. Bring your appetite to downtown Ocean Springs Saturday between 10a.m. and 2p.m.
Life of Mississippi is inviting everyone to A Celebration of Life. There will be food, door prizes, face painting, wheelchair softball and more. It is Saturday at the Handsboro Community Center from 10a.m. until 2p.m.
Enjoy the outdoors? If so, Resurrection Life Church in Picayune is where you will want to be Saturday for its first ever Blessing of the Hunt and Outdoor Expo. Learn new fishing techniques or about deer harvested in our state. The expo begins at 4p.m.
Experience a piece of Asian Culture at the Biloxi Town Green Sunday. The Mid-Autumn Moon Festival will feature a children's lantern parade, live music, cultural dances, fashion shows and more. Don't miss this unique celebration, it begins at 10a.m.
Don't be shy, learn a few new dance moves at Shock, a one day dance intensive workshop. Some of the industry's top teachers and choreographers will be at the Coast Coliseum Sunday. Make sure to call and reserve a spot.
And if you are in the mood for a challenge there is a duathlon Saturday in downtown Long Beach. The horn will sound at 8a.m. Have a great weekend.
