HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - One of Hattiesburg's oldest living veterans of World War Two has been honored by Hattiesburg High School's Jr. ROTC. Wednesday morning, Army veteran Angus Moody was presented an American flag by about 20 members of that group, known as the 'Tiger Battalion.'

The presentation was made at the Alden Pointe Retirement Center, where Moody has lived for the past two years.

Moody, who just celebrated his 100th birthday on Sept. 12, was a veteran of the Battle of the Bulge and owned a service station in downtown Hattiesburg for many years.
