BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - Two Biloxi residents have been arrested for robbing a church. Police say Walter Reed, Jr. and Cynthia McDonald have both been charged in separate burglaries that have occurred at the Seashore Methodist Assembly Church.
Police report that the burglaries occurred over the period of a month. According to police, the suspects lived at the same residence, and were arrested Saturday after resisting police.
Records show that both suspects have a history with police. Reed, 41, was also wanted by the Harrison County Sheriff's Department for insufficient funds/ bad checks. McDonald, 28, was out on another bond for prior burglary and credit card charges.
Both are being held in the Harrison County Adult Detention Center. McDonald was place there with no bond, and Reed was place there on a $50,000 bond.
