Jackson County closes several major roads

JACKSON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

There is a flash flood warning for Jackson County and already several roads south of Highway 90 are closed. Here's a rundown of the major roads closed in Jackson County.

In the Pecan and Orange Grove communities, Orange Grove Road, Grand Bature Road, Pecan Road, Bayou Heron Road and Pollocks Ferry Road are closed.

In Moss Point, Jefferson Street, along with parts of River Road and parts of Magnolia Street are closed.

In Pascagoula, parts of Market Street, parts of Magnolia Street, and parts of Hospital Street are closed.

In St. Andrews there is flooding around Lake Mars Pier And in St. Martin there is flooding around Langley Point, Ascot Point, and Beachview.

Again officials are advising you to stay away from these areas.

    Investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board are expected to arrive on the Coast tomorrow to examine wreckage from that Cessna 172 that crashed this morning just north of the Diamondhead Airport.
