Tropical Storm Lee pelts South Mississippi with rain

SOUTH MISSISSIPPI (WLOX) - Tropical Storm Lee's impact is being felt in South Mississippi. Heavy rains are pelting the area, slowing to a trickle at times and then kicking back up again. Flooding is being reported along Highway 90. People are being advised to stay off that road. There is street flooding throughout South Mississippi's coastal counties.

The National Hurricane Center's latest update has Tropical Storm Lee located at 29.3N 91.8W with maximum sustained winds of 60 mph.The storm is moving north at 6 mph. A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect from the Alabama/Florida border to Sabine Pass Texas.
