OCEAN SPRINGS, MS (WLOX) - The Ocean Springs Harbor is about to see $3.5 million worth of improvements. And those improvements include some special amenities the city requested to improve the look of the harbor.
Jackson County Supervisors approved plans Monday to build new bulkheads, boardwalks, and electrical outlets. But the plan also includes decorative street lamps, wider sidewalks, and landscaping.
The project is being funded through FEMA to repair damage from Hurricane Katrina. Work should begin sometime this fall.
