Biloxi Police send K9 after domestic assault suspect

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - A Biloxi teen charged with assaulting his parents was arrested Friday after a police K-9 rooted him out of hiding.

Biloxi Police were called to Arbor Drive to investigate a Domestic Assault report. Investigators said Jesse Wayne Schultz, 19, had assaulted his parents, then ran away when he saw police coming.

The officers eventually found him hiding under a storage shed on Kenmore Drive. When he refused to come out, Biloxi Police sent their K-9 under the shed to apprehend their suspect.

Schultz was charged with two counts of Domestic Assault and Resisting Arrest. Schultz was given a cash bond of $1520. Police said he also had an outstanding warrant with a bond of $1,400.
