Ruth's Sugar Free Sticky Buns

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup steel's sugar free butterscotch sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup raisins (for an interesting change, try dried cranberry pieces)
  • 1/4 cup pecan pieces
  • 1 package Pillsbury Hungry Jack Buttermilk Biscuits
  • Margarine, butter or pan coating of choice

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees
  2. Coat 8 or 9 inch baking pan with pan coating of choice
  3. Pour sauce into pan, making sure the pan is coated evenly
  4. Sprinkle cinnamon generously and evenly
  5. Sprinkle nuts evenly over bottom of pan
  6. Sprinkle raisins evenly over bottom of pan
  7. Sprinkle a little more cinnamon on top of nuts and raisins
  8. Place 8 biscuits over nuts and raisins. Fill in as much as possible
  9. Place in 450 degree oven and bake for 10 minutes, then lower heat to 400 degrees and bake for 4 more minutes.
  10. Let cool for 1 minute, then invert pan onto a large plate.
  11. Separate buns and serve warm
