WAVELAND, MS (WLOX) - The Waveland Civil Service Commission hearing the case of a fired Waveland police officer, has upheld his dismissal. The former officer is Clay Necaise. He was released by police administrators in July, 2010 for allegedly having sex on the hood of his patrol car with the fiancee of a fellow officer. Necaise has denied those allegations, despite a written and taped confession of the incident by the woman involved.
Before the commission reached it's decision Tuesday night, testimony it heard centered around the timeline leading up to the alleged incident. According to city attorney is Chad Mask, there was a 1:46 minute gap in calls from the officer to dispatch on the day in question.
Necaise's attorney said his client would likely appeal the decision to the circuit court.
