JACKSON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - A report of a home invasion in Gulf Park Estates led to three arrests and the recovery of thousands of dollars in stolen goods.
Jackson County deputies tells WLOX they got a 911 call yesterday from a disabled man who was hiding in his home on Magnolia Lane after three men broke in.
As they fled, a neighbor gave deputies a description of the suspects car. After a chase into Gautier, the suspects fled on foot.
Arrested are 34-year old Robert Riley Carter and 18-year old Devin Orlando Brown both of Gautier and 19-year-old Dominque Olando McGee of Ocean Springs.
Carter was taken to Singing River Hospital after being bitten by a police dog during the chase.
Jackson county investigators were able to recover a stash of assault rifles and pistols, two flat screen televisions, gaming systems, knives and another other items valued at more than $10,000.
During the investigation, deputies revealed the three were also involved in a burglary on Glen Eagle Drive in the Gulf Park Estates on July 8th.
