BAY ST. LOUIS, MS (WLOX) - A 37-year-old who allegedly stole savings bonds, drivers licenses, checkbooks, and car keys was nabbed by Bay St. Louis police. The suspect's name is Tracy Mayo. And authorities tell us as many as 25 different police agencies may want to talk with her.
Mayo was reportedly arrested this week in the Bay and charged with burglary, felony theft, forgery, bank fraud, vehicle theft and drug possession.
Bay police worked with the Louisiana Attorney General's fugitive unit to apprehend Mayo. The items she allegedly stole were traced to owners in Waveland and Harrison County.
Police tell WLOX.com that among the items recovered during the investigation were two stolen vehicles.
Mayo is from Prairieville, LA. According to police, she's accused of burglaries and thefts in both Mississippi and Louisiana.
