Moss Point names interim school superintendent

MOSS POINT, MS (WLOX) -

The Moss Point School Board Friday named Dr. John G. Ladner as its selection as interim superintendent.

Ladner will take over for Kim Staley, whose contract was not renewed by the board. Staley is appealing his dismissal.

Ladner has more than 30 years of experience in education in the Lumberton and Pearl School Districts.

    The Department of Marine Resources is expecting a big turnout on the water for those wanting to watch the Blue Angels this week in Biloxi. The air show is Saturday and Sunday, but the practice rounds take place Thursday and Friday.
