D'IBERVILLE, MS (WLOX) - The man who called 911 after he found his wife shot in their D'Iberville home is now charged with her murder. D'Iberville police believe Troy Roberts shot and killed his 44-year-old wife, Philomena, on June 1.
D'Iberville's police chief tells WLOX.com Roberts was served an arrest warrant for the murder charge on Wednesday afternoon. He got that warrant just moments after appearing in a jailhouse courtroom on a carrying a concealed weapon charge.
Troy and Philomena Roberts lived on Forest Drive in D'Iberville. According to a coroner's report, Mrs. Roberts died four weeks ago from a single gunshot to her chest.
