Memphis Q Dixie Dust & BBQ Sauce Recipes

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - Memphis Q at Beau Rivage has a new executive chef, Kurt Jones. Thursday, Chef Jones stopped by our 4 O'Clock Show and shared the restaurant's famous recipes for BBQ sauce and Dixie Dust, which is used on all those smoky ribs and chicken.

Dixie Dust

2 tbsp Ranch Season Mix
1 tbsp Iodized Salt
2 tbsp Paprika
1 tbsp Black Pepper
1 tbsp Onion Powder
1 tbsp Sugar
1 tbsp Granulated Garlic
1/2 tbsp Cumin
1 tbsp Chili Powder
1 tbsp Celery Seed

Memphis Q BBQ Sauce

4 cups Ketchup
3/4 cup Cider Vinegar
2 tbsp Chili Powder
1/2 tbsp Granulated Garlic
1/8 tsp Cumin
1 tbsp Black Pepper
1/2 tbsp Dixie Dust
1/2 cup Honey
3/4 cup Yellow Mustard
