GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) - Two men who Gulfport Police have been searching for since Friday have finally turned themselves in to authorities.
That word comes from attorney Michael Crosby, who represents Jesse Lee Williams, Junior, 19. He and his cousin, Anthony Williams, 23, are suspects in the shooting death of Melvin Presley, 23, who was gunned down Friday afternoon. The shooting happened on 32nd Avenue in Gulfport. Two other men were also injured.
Police said both men will be charged with one count of Homicide, and two counts Aggravated Assault.
Crosby said Jessie Lee Williams, Jr. told him that Presley and the other men were trying to rob him when they were shot.
