BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

One person is behind bars after leading police on a chase through two coast cities early Tuesday morning.

It all started right down the road from our station at the Shell gas station on Debuys Road Biloxi Police tell us a car was stolen from the gas station.

The driver of the stolen vehicle headed north on Debuys, moving into Gulfport on Switzer Road and stopped at James Hill Park.

Biloxi and Gulfport units responded to the park. The driver took off in the vehicle again, dodging parked cop cars.

Police chased the driver down Pass Road, then on to Cowan. The driver then hopped on the interstate where officers were waiting with spike strips. The car's front tires blew on I-10 and eventually came to a stop on West Oak Lawn off exit 41.

Biloxi Police tell us the driver has been arrested. Officials are currently on I-10 picking up the leftover pieces of the blown-out tires.
