RV Couple Says They're Living A Dream

Imagine living out of an RV for five years. Harry and Sydney Kloos don't have to imagine it, because they have been doing exactly that since 1998. That's when the couple sold their beautiful 3,000 square foot, four bedroom home in New Jersey.

A lot of their neighbors wondered why. In fact, some of those neighbors thought Harry and Sydney had gone crazy. But the move made perfect sense to the retired teachers.

"We always enjoyed the RV lifestyle. We are doing it to see the country, meet nice people and have a lot of fun," Sydney said.

Harry and Sydney go where they want to go, and when they want to go. But don't call it a "non stop vacation".

"A lot of people say, 'You are on a vacation.' This is not a vacation. This is a lifestyle," Harry said.

That lifestyle includes just about all the conveniences of home. Of course, there are a few drawbacks.

"The worst part: I wish I had more closet space," Sydney said, chuckling.

Harry and Sydney plan on being full time RV'ers for years to come, even if their family and friends are still a little baffled by their decision to hit the road full time.

"They are happy for us, but they are still a little skeptical. They say, 'You're still doing it? You have not killed each other yet?" No," Sydney said.
