GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) -

Crisis counselors arrived at Coast Guard Station Gulfport Thursday afternoon for family members awaiting word on their missing loved ones.

Thirteen of 16 men were rescued after their pogey fishing boat was struck by an outbound container ship late Wednesday night.

Family members of one missing fisherman from North Carolina told WLOX News they were devastated upon hearing the news their uncle is among the missing.

Divers searched the sunken fishing vessel Thursday afternoon. They saw much scattered debris, but no sign of the missing persons.

Coast Guard Sector Commander Don Rose said search teams are still holding on to hope in their efforts to find three missing fishermen.
