Habitat power tools stolen; Biloxi man arrested

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - A Biloxi man is under arrest after police say he broke into a Habitat for Humanity truck, and stole several power tools.

Thursday, Biloxi Police arrested Mitchell Ryan Johnson, 20, and charged him with burglary of an auto.

Investigators said Johnson broke into the truck toolbox of a vehicle belonging to Habitat for Humanity of Mississippi. It happened in the 1800 block of Southern Avenue.

Police said Johnson then left the scene with several power tools belonging to Habitat. He was arrested a short while later at his home. Biloxi Police recovered all the missing tools.

Johnson was being held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center on a $25,000 bond.
