Surveillance video captures "persons of interest" in Long Beach burglary

LONG BEACH, MS (WLOX) - Long Beach Police are looking for the person who stole a handgun and a MS Gaming Commission badge from a vehicle on LaRosa Street. Investigators said the burglary happened sometime between Friday, April 22nd and Monday, April 25th.

The burglar, or burglars, got away with a wallet containing the MS Gaming Commission badge and credentials, a checkbook containing credit cards, and a .45 cal semi-auto handgun.

Two young men later tried to use one of the stolen credit cards at Walmart on Highway 49 in Gulfport. Police released pictures of those suspects taken from the store's surveillance video.
