SOUTH MISSISSIPPI (WLOX) - Many people are asking how they can help the victims of this week's deadly storms across the southeast. Several South Mississippi organizations are taking up donations to help those affected.
All members of the Gulf Coast Baptist Association (GCBA) are taking monetary donations for storm victims. If you are interested in making a donation, make checks payable to the Gulf Coast Baptist Association, and drop off the checks at one of their locations. All donations collected by the Gulf Coast Baptist Association will go to the Monroe Baptist Association in Smithville, MS and the Baptist association in Tuscaloosa, AL.
The Red Cross has been in all the storm damaged areas offering assistance to victims. You can volunteer with the Red Cross, give a monetary donations, or donate blood. Find out more at www.americanredcross.org.
