BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - Carrie Underwood may have given everyone the wrong impression: It's still not a good idea to carve your name, or anything else, into someone's car, no matter how mad you are at them. In fact, it will probably land you in jail.

Sylvia Lynn Wells, 19, was arrested Wednesday after police say she purposely damaged a vehicle in the 7000 block of Woolmarket Road.

Investigators say she scratched profane words into the vehicle's paint. They didn't say who the vehicle belonged to, or what may have motivated the Biloxi woman.

Wells is charged with Felony Malicious Mischief. She's being held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center on a $5,000 bond.
