Biloxi woman savagely stabbed in the neck

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

A Biloxi woman is being transported to USA Medical Center after being attacked and stabbed earlier today around 3 p.m.

According to the Biloxi Police Department, officers were called out to a home on Keller avenue this afternoon, where they found June Nelson bleeding in the front yard.

Authorities said she was stabbed in the neck multiple times. Police believe she'd been living at the home for a few days.

Her exact condition is unknown, but police said she was conscious and talking.

No arrests have been made at this time, but police are interviewing witnesses and the case remains under investigation.
