MOSS POINT, MS (WLOX) - All Lagwanna Carroll could do is scream when she came outside Tuesday morning and saw this supersized oak tree on top of her Honda Accord.
"I was like, oh my God, my car," Carroll said.
The storm victim believes Monday night's nasty weather uprooted this hollow tree, snapped it, and dropped it on her car crushing it like an egg shell. All the windows and the windshield are shattered in the car. The tires are flat and the roof is on the floor of the car.
"I don't know if I should cry or what," Carroll said after looking inside her car.
"This is just all messed up," Her father, Byron Turner said.
Her father, Bryon Turner, was flabbergasted when he saw how Mother Nature had struck his baby girl's ride.
"I just thought we were going to get wind and rain, but seems like we got a little more than that."
His daughter said although it just a car, it was a her treasure. In fact the car was so special it earned a special name.
"Honda-licious, her name was Honda-licious. It was mine, and I have had so many people try to buy this car from me off the streets because this is a popular model," Carroll said about the crushed car.
The father and daughter said the car is a total loss, but they still have reason to be thankful.
"I am just glad nobody was in here, because as you can see that crashing down could be catastrophic to anybody," Carroll said as she pointed to the damage inside the car.
Carroll admits saying goodbye to her car she has loved so long is tough.
"I am going to miss my car because this was my baby. Bye Honda-licious, you are totaled now, rest in peace sweetie."
