BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

Friday, investigators with Jackson County Criminal Investigation Division arrested Wendell Keith Green, 37, on an outstanding warrant for kidnapping.

The arrest is from an incident that happened on Saturday, March 26. A police report was filed with the Jackson County Sheriff's Department (JCSD).

According to the JCSD, Green returned to his home on Oak Cove Drive in Biloxi after leaving following a prior domestic dispute that day (March 26).

Green returned with a handgun and forced his wife and stepdaughter at gunpoint first into a bathroom in the home then moving them to a bedroom inside the residence.

Mrs. Green was able to talk to him and calm him down, and he left the residence after the two hour ordeal without anyone getting injured.

Wendell Keith Green was taken into custody at the Jackson County Sheriff Department Sub Station on Washington Avenue in Ocean Springs and transported to the Jackson County Adult Detention Center in Pascagoula.

Green is currently at the Adult Detention Center awaiting an initial appearance.
