PASS CHRISTIAN, MS (WLOX) - Mental health professionals from across south Mississippi are learning breathing techniques today to help reduce stress and cope with trauma.
Psychiatrists from New York are providing the training at the Marsha Barbour Resource Center in Pass Christian this week. The program they teach uses ancient and modern methods to help south Mississippians deal with the aftermath of the BP oil spill.
The psychiatrists who in town for the training did similar work with mental health professionals in New York City after 9/11.
