Teen gets assaulted at gas station

PASCAGOULA, MS (WLOX) -

A 16-year-old boy was assaulted early Sunday morning at the Murphy Oil gas station on Denny Avenue in Pascagoula. Police reported that the suspect stole $53 in cash, then left in a pick-up truck to an unknown direction.

According to the Pascagoula Police Department, the suspect is a black male, and was wearing a blue Atlanta Braves hat, blue t-shirt and blue jean shorts at the time of the beating.

The suspect got into a 1997 Chevrolet Silverado truck and left the area. The truck beared the Mississippi tag number JK7-024, registered to Brian Frazier of 6924 Bienville, St. Martin.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of the truck or recognize the suspect is asked to contact the Pascagoula Police Department at 228-938-6684.
