WASHINGTON, D.C. (WLOX) - South Mississippi's new Congressman Steven M. Palazzo issued a statement after hearing the news of the attack on Rep. Gabrielle Giffords Saturday.
"I am deeply saddened by the senseless attack on Representative Giffords of Arizona, my colleague on the House Armed Services and Science and Technology committees," Palazzo said. "My prayers are with her husband and family, as well as the families of all those affected by this tragedy."
