Quisha Rena Larkin accused of stabbing and killing a Biloxi man
BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -
BILOXI, MS (WLOX) – Biloxi police have arrested a 26-year-old Biloxi woman in the stabbing death of Tommy McGee that occurred early New Year's Day. Quisha Rena Larkin has been charged with murder with a bond set at $1,000,000.
Biloxi police were called to the home of McGee on James Buchanan Drive because of a reported fight. When they arrived they found the 53-year-old McGee lying in front yard with stab wounds.
"The victim was laying on the ground, near the front door. There was some firecrackers laying around, stuff laying around like that," said Sgt. Tim McKaig of the Biloxi Police Department.
Harrison County coroner Gary Hargrove said McGee died of a single stab wound to the chest. McGee was transported to Biloxi Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
In the investigation that followed, police named a man identified as John Mathis as a person of interest. However, investigators say further inquiries and the "collection of vital evidence" led them to arrest Larkin.
Larkin was a known associate of McGee and is being held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center.
