JACKSON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - JACKSON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - A man accused of paying someone to kill his ex-wife remains hospitalized after what Jackson County sheriff's deputies say was a suicide attempt. Adam Ray Dunn, 30, of Saucier, is charged with Attempted Capital Murder.

The hit man allegedly hired by Dunn did not follow through with the murder, and is not charged with a crime. However, investigators said Friday more arrests are expected next week because they believe others were involved in the conspiracy.

Two weeks ago, Dunn bonded out of the Harrison County jail on charges that he allegedly raped and kidnapped his ex-wife. Investigators believe her refusal to drop those charges lead to the murder plot.
