Free money hidden in Biloxi

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - This morning, you have a chance to find free gift cards and coupons to KFC in Biloxi thanks to one South Mississippi resident.

Ryan Eichler from KFC Public Relations said the restaurant chain hid miniature versions of its iconic buckets throughout Biloxi Tuesday morning as part of a promotion for its "Festive Feast" meals.

Eichler said the buckets are hidden in various spots around the city and contain gift cards of varying amounts and gift checks for KFC food.

Earlier this month, KFC asked America to nominate the cities they thought were most in need of buckets of holiday cheer.

The most compelling nomination came from a Biloxi resident who nominated her city after seeing the hardships it has faced in recent years.
