Pascagoula shoot out under investigation

PASCAGOULA, MS (WLOX) -

PASCAGOULA, MS (WLOX) - Burglary charges are pending against three men suspected in a Sunday night shoot out at a Pascagoula apartment.

Investigators believe three Biloxi men broke into an Ingalls Avenue apartment around 10:30 Sunday night. The suspects are Germain Demarco Anderson, 24, Willie James Lee, 28, and Bernard Elliot, 18.

Police said after the men entered the apartment, the man who lived there and his girlfriend came home and surprised the trio. Police said one of the intruders pulled out a gun and fired a shot. The victim, who was also armed, returned fire. Investigators said several shots were fired, but it's not known if anyone was injured.

The would-be burglars ran away in different directions. A white Lincoln LS with a black door was seen leaving the scene. Witnesses had spotted the car in the area prior to the burglary.

Pascagoula Police are asking anyone with information about the crime, please call their Criminal Investigation Division at (228) 762-2211.
