STARKVILLE, MS (AP) - Ravern Johnson scored 17 points to lead Mississippi State to a 74-58 victory over North Carolina A&T on Sunday.
The Bulldogs (5-2) hit 15 3s and shot 25 of 56 from the field (44.6 percent).
The Aggies (5-4) made only 23 of 65 shots (41 percent) and were 7 of 25 from beyond the arc (28 percent).
Mississippi State led 41-21 at the half and dominated throughout, ending a two-game losing streak.
Johnson was 6 of 14 in the game and 5 of 10 from beyond the arc.
Riley Benock added 15 points for the Bulldogs.
Nic Simpson paced North Carolina A&T with 16 points and Thomas Coleman scored 14.
This is the second game in a four-game stretch for Mississippi State in as many days.
Renardo Sidney and Dee Bost, two projected starters for the Bulldogs, did not play because of NCAA suspensions.
