South Mississippi weekend whereabouts December 10th - 12th

SOUTH MISSISSIPPI (WLOX) - It's Fido and Fluffy's turn to take their picture with Santa. Bring your dogs and cats to the Humane Society Friday between noon and 4p.m. And if you have some pets on your shopping list you can cross them off because there will be several great items your pets will love.

The Sandhill Crane Refuge is inviting you to over to feed our feathered friends. They'll also be teaching you to make pine cone bird feeders. Head on over to the refuge Saturday between 9a.m. and 3p.m.

Bring your appetite to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church for some greek delectables. There will be a variety of homemade goodies you can take home for yourself or give as a gift. Stop by Saturday between 9a.m. and 2p.m.

It's second Saturday in Bay St. Louis and it's all about the holidays this month. Stoll around downtown for some great shopping, live music and a Christmas parade. You might even run into Santa. The festivities begin at 10a.m.

Children can make their own Christmas gifts Saturday at Three Rivers Holiday Extravaganza. They'll be holding a Cookies and Canvas class and while they paint you can shop. Make sure to reserve a spot for the class by calling (228) 539-3330.

Decorated boats will parade around the Gulfport Lake and Bayou Bernard for Christmas on the Bayou. Coast on over and enjoy the boat parade Saturday beginning at 6p.m.

Celebrate the holidays with music and lyrics told through sign language. A Show of Hands will feature an array of holiday classics. The performance is at the Mary C. Saturday at 3p.m.

Going through with drawls since Dancing with the Stars is over? Well come on out to the Saenger Theater Saturday for a Gulf Coast rendition of the show. You can even get a chance to make your debut, but make sure to call ahead. The performance is Saturday at 8p.m.

Get some holiday decorating tips for next year. Sunday several Bay St. Louis and Gulfport residents will be opening up their homes and inviting you inside. The tour in Bay St. Louis begins at 1p.m and in Gulfport at 2p.m.
