Tulane University might occupy the old Gulfport library
GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) - Tulane University is looking to expand on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Representatives from the school met with Harrison County supervisors today and asked about the old library building in downtown Gulfport.
Supervisors said any proposal for that site would have to meet the requirements of a memorandum of understanding that came following a series of FEMA public hearings regarding the future of the old library.
Steve Phillips is covering the story and will have more later today on WLOX News and WLOX.com.
