Former Dallas Cowboy Quarterback dies

SANTA FE, NM (WLOX) – Former Dallas Cowboys Quarterback and Sportscaster 'Dandy' Don Meredith has died.

Meredith died in Santa Fe, New Mexico after suffering a brain hemorrhage and lapsing into a coma on Sunday.

Meredith's wife said a private graveside ceremony is being planned.

Meredith played for the Dallas Cowboys from 1960 until 1968.

He died at age 72.
