PASCAGOULA, MS (WLOX) - PASCAGOULA, MS (WLOX) - Members of a Jackson County motorcycle club took to the streets Sunday for a good cause. The Talons teamed up with the Salvation Army for a toy run.
The toys were collected over the past few weeks, and were delivered to the Salvation Army shelter in Pascagoula. From there, they'll be distributed to needy children who might not otherwise have a Christmas toy under the tree.
The leather clad bikers say knowing their efforts will bring a smile to the face of a child Christmas morning makes it all worth it.
"This is our fifth annual run," Talons Motorcycle Club member Paul Baeyens said. "We've been set up for years how to bless the kids with the Salvation Army and delivering toys every year and we're especially concerned for Jackson County, and that's why we do this."
More than two dozens members of the Talons took part in Sunday's toy run, despite the chilly weather.
