PASCAGOULA, MS (WLOX) - PASCAGOULA, MS (WLOX) - Goodwill opened a new store Thursday in Pascagoula. The new location on Denny Avenue offers a lot of choices for bargain hunters, from donated items to products.
The store hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday to dedicate the new building. It replaces the one at the Bel Air Shopping Center that was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.
"It feels good. We're being back home now after five years of waiting. Katrina threw us a curve ball, but now we're just back in town, bigger and better," said Store Manager Chantal Miller. "If you don't have a whole lot of money, it's the best place where you can shop for clothes and shoes and books and everything."
The store is open seven days a week, with limited hours on Sunday.
