Teresa Stratton's Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie

  • 3/4 cup butter softened
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 unbaked pie shell

Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Fold in the chips and pecans. Smooth the cookie batter into the crust.

Bake at 325 for 45 minutes. Add a pie shield or some aluminum foil to cover the crust edges and bake for 10-15 more minutes.

Serve warm with ice cream or cold alone!
