Pascagoula Police search for 3 robbery, shooting suspects

PASCAGOULA, MS (WLOX) - PASCAGOULA, MS (WLOX) - Pascagoula Police are looking for three black men they believe were involved in an overnight armed robbery and shooting.

Mark Harlon Watkins, 40, told police he was going to visit a girl at the Regency Woods Apartments when two of the men ambushed him. He said another man wearing a hockey mask walked up and shot him in the chest.

Watkins is still in the hospital, but in stable condition.

Police said they know the descriptions of the suspects are vague, but they hope the public will be able to help them solve the case.

"We don't really know at this stage. The man, the victim, has advised us he can identify two of the suspects, and we just got through interviewing him at the hospital, and we are diligently searching at this time for anybody that matches the description of the guys," said Lieutenant Davy Davis.

If you have any information on the attack or the whereabouts of the suspects, call the Pascagoula Police Department at (228) 762-2211.
