Shop at home this holiday season

This holiday shopping season please consider shopping at home in South Mississippi. This is the time of year that can make or break a merchant. They make most of their profit between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

And just like the merchant, we are all still trying to survive in this tough economic time. You can help our community by spending your holiday shopping dollars right here.

Your gift to your loved one can also be a gift to each of us, because if you shop in South Mississippi when you buy your gifts, you are not only giving to your family and friends, but also investing in our economy, which means you are investing in each of us.

That's our opinion, we would like to hear yours. Email your thoughts to editorials@wlox.com, or post your comments below.
