On Tuesday voters in South Mississippi will have the opportunity to vote on a number of races. There will be chancellery court judge races and county court positions that will be decided. In Waveland voters will begin the process of deciding who will be the next Mayor and aldermen in that city. The one race that has gotten a lot of attention this fall is the Fourth Congressional District race.
Incumbent, Democrat Gene Taylor is being challenged by three opponents Republican Steven Palazzo, Libertarian Tim Hampton and Reform Party candidate Anna Revies. A number of polls have been taken and most of them reportedly show that the race is extremely tight between Taylor and Palazzo.
So it is more important than ever for you to get out and vote on Tuesday. Your vote may just make the difference between which candidate is elected to represent us in Congress for the next two years.
The candidates in the various races have done their job. They have campaigned and told us why they should be elected to represent us. Now it's our duty to go out and vote on Tuesday.
