D'IBERVILLE, MS (WLOX) – D'Iberville Police believe they've cracked a burglary ring that was targeting contractors and work trucks with tool boxes.

Three Biloxi residents are under arrest: Anthony Franklin, 44, is charged with one count of Burglary of a Vehicle and one count of Felony False Pretense; Calvin Leblanc, 50, is charged with one count of Burglary of a Vehicle and one count of Receiving Stolen Property; and Donna Berteau is charged with Receiving Stolen Property.

Investigators zeroed in on Franklin and Leblanc as suspects after a vehicle was burglarized on September 20 at Lowe's in D'Iberville. Investigators said the men would target contractors and other trucks containing tool boxes and tools lying in the back of trucks.

Two of the trucks were unlocked, so some victims may not even realize their vehicles were burglarized. D'Iberville Police are now in the process of identifying the owners of all the recovered property. They also expect to make additional arrests.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact Captain Bruce Dubuisson at (228) 396-4252.

Franklin, Leblanc and Berteau are all being held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center. Franklin is under a $76,000 bond, Leblanc is under an $11,000 bond and Berteau is under a $10,000 bond.
