D'Iberville Police search for 3rd suspect in shoplifting ring

D'IBERVILLE, MS (WLOX) -

D'IBERVILLE, MS (WLOX) - D'Iberville Police say they have broken up a shoplifting ring with two arrests, but a third suspect remains on the run.

Police recovered at least $23,000 in sporting goods, electronics and clothing that investigators say was stolen from stores in D'Iberville and Jackson County.

Police say the investigation started with a complaint from Dick's Sporting Goods in the Promenade Shopping Center, but that wasn't the only store hit over the last 30 to 45 days.

None of the suspects worked at stores where the thefts occurred.

"The three would work as a team," Captain Bruce Dubuison told WLOX News. "One would enter the store and the others would be lookouts."

Police say the suspects sold a lot of the merchandise at five pawn shops in Jackson County, things like rifle scopes and auto parts.

Police charged brothers from Ocean Springs with grand larceny. They are Ryan Jurich and Chadson Rush Police are looking for the third suspect, Albert Everett, Junior from Vancleave.

Investigators began putting the pieces together after they arrested Jurich on an unrelated charge.
