Moss Point man charged with child porn possession

MOSS POINT, MS (WLOX) -

JACKSON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - The Jackson County Sheriff's Department has made another child pornography arrest. William Timothy Odom, Jr. of Moss Point is charged with one count of Child Porn Possession.

The 20-year-old faces a minimum of five years, and a maximum of 40 years in prison, if found guilty.

Odom is being held at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center pending an initial court appearance. Investigators say he could face further indictment through the Jackson County Grand Jury.

The arrest was made as part of the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, which uses a combination of new technologies to track down suspected child predators.
