GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) -
GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) - Twelve South Mississippi executives had to answer to the scale Wednesday morning at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport. The CEO Heart Challenge is part of the American Heart Association's Heart Walk, which takes place this Saturday.
Among the participants at Wednesday's morning's weigh in was WLOX News Director Brad Kessie. From July 4 through today, Memorial Hospital scales say he lost 24 pounds. Brad said he did it by going back to the gym and changing his eating habits. He said one of the biggest changes was giving up fast food.
Saturday's Heart Walk events begin at 7:30am with a survivor's reception. The walk itself starts at 8:30am at the old VA property on Highway 90 in Gulfport. Click here for more details on the event.
